Jesus Christ is by far the most controversial person in the history of civilization. Throughout history He has been viewed in many different ways by many different people. Some view Him as a lunatic, some say He's a great religious leader, some say He's just a prophet, but many believe that He is the only begotten Son of God. The question is how do you view Jesus Christ and what does He mean to you? This question is not one that can be taken lightly. This is a life changing eternal destination question. Since God is a perfect and holy righteous being He cannot have sin in His presence. You and I due to the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3) are sinful people who cannot be reconciled with God or be in His presence. People that are not spiritually reconciled with God and are separated from Him will spend eternity in hell (Revelation 20:11 ) because of the sins they commit daily and because of the sin inherited from Adam in the garden. There is no amount of good deeds you can perform in order to try and earn your way back into good merits with God. The only way you can be reconciled with God is by repenting of your sins and asking God for forgiveness by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord & Saviour. We are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8)
According to John 1:29 & 1:34 Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world as well as the Son of God. So what does that mean you might ask? How does He take away the sins of the world? Why do I need to ask Him for forgiveness? The answer is simple. God sent Jesus into the world through a virgin named Mary who remained a virgin even after giving birth to Jesus. Jesus willingly sacrificed Himself by being nailed to a cross and killed for the remission of sins. You might be thinking, how can a man who died over 2000 years ago save me or help me? Thats the defining point, Jesus did not remain dead but He rose from the dead in 3 days and defeated death so those who repent and believe in Him will never die but live eternally (John 3:16).
God is madly in love with you and all He wants is to have a relationship with you. He accepts you as you are no matter if you committed murder, raped or abused someone, been raped or abused, sell drugs, do drugs, committed armed robbery, get drunk, have sex before marriage (you fill in the blank) it doesnt matter what you have done in your life He still accepts you, but the beautiful thing is He will not leave you that way. He will change you if you just submit to His will and His ways. When you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior and repent you restore your relationship with God and become a part of His family through the Blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only one that can restore your relationship with God simply because He is the one that took your punishment and your sins on the cross (John 14:6, Acts 4:12 ). To every person that heres the music on this site or is reading this message I urge you to not let the sun go down without submitting to the will of God. Life is short and tomorrow is not promised repent before its too late. Make every effort to read the bible daily and join a strong bible believing church. Jesus will soon return for all people that trust & believe in Him as Lord and Saviour. The question is are you ready for that return???
